Time to reveal your superpower….

Show your support through sponsorship, financial donation, and / or volunteerism.

Help us celebrate Powell River’s trails, lakes and waterways.

The Powell Forest Canoe Route was first developed by a group of Powell Riverites who had a vision to link up a series of lakes into a rustic route. In doing so they created the route we know today. The Friends of the Powell Forest Canoe Route Society wants to rekindle that spirit. Since about 1990, the route has contributed to our economy and has provided us with a great canoeing, hiking, walking recreation opportunity for more years than that. It's out there and it can use your support.

The Society has a vision of volunteers and financial support that will enhance the existing upkeep. In addition, it will provide opportunities to meet and paddle together for seasoned canoeists and beginners alike. If you like volunteer work parties with a social afterwards, come join the fun...and don't forget your roasting stick.

Furthermore, being a stakeholder and registered not-for-profit allows us to ensure donations go into the canoe route as our labour is free; the best bang for your buck!

Remember, if it ain’t fun, it isn’t worth doing.
